CyberSpace Comics is an online comic book store owned and operated by Steve, a longtime comic fan and collector who built the shop around what he wanted as a customer himself. The store carries an inventory of more than 170,000 unique issues, organized by character, genre, and publisher, from Marvel and DC to Archie, Boom, Dark Horse, Dynamite, IDW, Image, and Valiant. Shoppers can browse new releases, monthly best sellers, keys and first appearances, and exclusives, with each issue listed by grade. Quick order turnaround and safe packaging are the store's top priorities, and it also buys collections, with a particular interest in 10-cent and 12-cent Marvel and DC comics and golden and silver age books.

CyberSpace Comics wanted to become a premier online source for comics and to generate rich sales data from a catalog that runs to more than 170,000 individual issues. A store at that scale needs a platform that can handle graded, variant-level listings, deep filtering by character, genre, and publisher, and the account, wish list, and rewards features that keep collectors coming back. It also needed a look that felt like a comic shop rather than a generic catalog.
