About Colonial Bowling & Entertainment
Colonial Bowling & Entertainment is a family entertainment center in Lawrence Township, New Jersey, just outside Princeton. Under one roof it has 24 blacklit bowling lanes, a Jurassic Quest laser tag arena, an 80+ game arcade, Doc's Bar & Grill and a private VIP bowling suite for up to 130 guests. Families, friends, schools and companies from across Mercer County and nearby Bucks County, PA, come for open play, birthday parties, date nights and corporate events.
Challenge
Colonial had tried an outside company for a few months and then run its social media in-house, but posting took too much of the team's time and the pages were not reaching a broad enough audience. It needed a steady stream of posts that sold parties, events and the VIP suite to families and adults alike, in a fun voice that still felt classy. It brought in SmartSites to run its social media, alongside its Google and Meta ads and a new website.
