About Dr. J's Music Studio and Academy
Dr. J's Music Studio and Academy, operated by JMS Productions, is a music education studio in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, just outside Pittsburgh. It was founded by Dr. John Seybert, who holds a Ph.D. in Music Education from Indiana University and brings more than 25 years of experience as a teacher, conductor, band director, adjudicator, and curriculum specialist. The studio offers private and online lessons in saxophone, music theory, and jazz improvisation, group classes, and college audition preparation, including its flagship VIP Sax Intensive. Dr. Seybert also runs an education consulting practice that helps schools, districts, and educators with curriculum design and professional development.
Challenge
Dr. J's Music Studio and Academy serves two very different audiences: students and families looking for lessons and audition coaching, and schools and districts looking for curriculum and professional development support. The studio also wanted to sell structured programs such as the VIP Sax Intensive and offer self-paced learning online, which its previous web presence could not do. It needed one site that felt as polished as a conservatory, made booking a free consultation easy, and could deliver courses and take payments.
