Google Shopping ads management
Google Shopping ads that sell more at a higher ROAS.
Shopping and Performance Max campaigns built on a clean Merchant Center feed, bid by product margin and judged on revenue and return on ad spend. Run by our in-house PPC team, with every result in your Client Hub.
Google Shopping specialists who start with your product feed.
Google decides which of your products to show, for which searches and at what price, from the data in your Merchant Center feed. So that is where we start: clearing disapprovals and policy warnings, filling in GTINs, brands and other missing attributes, and rewriting titles around the words shoppers actually type. Then we build campaigns around how your store makes money. Custom labels split products by margin, price and best sellers, so bids follow what each sale is worth and slow sellers stop eating the budget. Standard Shopping and Performance Max are each used where they earn, search terms are checked every week, and promotions and price checks keep your offers competitive. Conversion tracking counts every order and its value, and the same feed can run Microsoft Shopping ads on Bing. We have run Google Ads for online stores since 2011, on Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce and Magento, and every campaign is held to revenue and return on ad spend in your Client Hub.
Standard Shopping, Performance Max and free listings, each used where it pays.
One product feed powers all three. We choose the mix from your catalog, margins and sales history, then move budget to whatever brings orders at the best return.

|---|---|---|---|
| Where products show | The Shopping tab and Google search results, plus search partner sites if you choose | Search, Shopping, YouTube, Display, Discover, Gmail and Maps, from one campaign | Unpaid product listings across Google, including the Shopping tab, Search, Images and YouTube |
| How you pay | Per click | Per click, with Google bidding toward your conversion value | Nothing: free listings come from the same feed |
| How much control you get | You choose products, bids and negative keywords for each product group | Google's AI picks placements and audiences; we steer it with listing groups, asset groups, audience signals and brand exclusions | None beyond the feed itself: Google ranks listings by relevance and data quality |
| Best for | Products and searches you want tight control over, and new or low-volume catalogs | Stores with reliable conversion tracking and enough sales for Google's AI to learn from | Every store with a Merchant Center account: extra reach at no cost |
| What we manage | Campaign structure, product groups, bids, priorities and search term negatives | Feed-only and best-seller splits, conversion values, creative and brand exclusions | Feed quality and Merchant Center health, so products stay approved and eligible |
We often run Standard Shopping and Performance Max side by side: Performance Max for reach across Google, Standard Shopping for the products and searches that need tight control, and free listings underneath both.
Everything your Shopping ads need, from the feed to the sale.
One team handles your Merchant Center account, product feed, campaigns and bids, and answers for the revenue they bring in.
Merchant Center setup and health
Every Shopping ad starts in Google Merchant Center. We set up or audit your account, verify and claim your website, link it to Google Ads and set shipping, tax and return policies. Then we clear what keeps products from showing: disapprovals, missing GTINs, price or availability mismatches with your site, image problems and policy flags, and we watch the diagnostics every week so approved products stay approved.
Product feed optimization
Your feed decides which searches your products can show for. We rewrite titles and descriptions around the words shoppers use, set Google product categories and product types, fill in brand, color, size and material, and add custom labels for margin, price band, season and best sellers. Fixes that your store platform cannot send go in through supplemental feeds and feed rules, so nothing is overwritten on the next sync.

Standard Shopping campaigns
Standard Shopping gives the most control over which products get budget. We segment campaigns by brand, category, margin and best sellers, split product groups down to the item where it pays, use campaign priorities and negative keywords to send each search to the right products, and cut terms that spend without selling.
Performance Max for retail
Performance Max shows your products across Search, Shopping, YouTube, Display, Gmail and Maps, with Google's AI choosing where. It pays off with the right inputs, so we give it accurate conversion values, a clean feed, audience signals from your customer lists and creative in every size. We split best sellers from the long tail, run feed-only campaigns where creative adds little, and keep your brand searches from inflating the results.
Bidding to ROAS and margin
One flat ROAS target treats a 10% margin product like a 60% one. We set target ROAS by margin tier and product group, make sure order values are tracked correctly, and raise or lower targets as the account learns and the seasons change. Merchant Center promotions and price competitiveness data show where a sale or a price change would win more clicks.

Free listings and Microsoft Shopping
The same feed that runs your ads also puts your products in Google's free listings, and we make sure they qualify. We can import it into Microsoft Merchant Center as well, so your products also show in Microsoft Shopping ads on Bing, Yahoo and DuckDuckGo, often at a lower cost per click than on Google.
Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento and BigCommerce
Most feeds come from your store platform: the Google & YouTube app on Shopify, Google for WooCommerce or a feed plugin, an extension on Magento or BigCommerce's Google channel. We connect the feed, fix what the app sends wrong and fill the gaps with supplemental feeds, and set up conversion tracking so every order and its value reach Google Ads.
Amazon, Meta and more
Shopping is often the first channel, not the only one. When your products also sell on Amazon or catch attention on Facebook and Instagram, the same team runs those ads from the same plan, and your Client Hub shows every channel side by side.

Google Shopping ads questions, answered
Management starts at $750 a month when Google Shopping is your first platform, plus $250 a month for each platform you add, such as Microsoft Shopping, Meta or Amazon. Setup is free. The minimum ad budget for ecommerce campaigns is $2,500 a month, paid straight to Google with your own card and separate from our fee. See PPC pricing for what the fee covers.
Merchant Center setup and monitoring, product feed optimization, Standard Shopping and Performance Max campaigns, bidding to your target return on ad spend, conversion tracking for orders and revenue, free listings and monthly reporting. Your analyst reviews the account every week and meets with you at least once a month.
Often both. Performance Max reaches shoppers across Search, Shopping, YouTube, Display, Gmail and Maps and learns from your sales, while Standard Shopping gives tighter control over specific products and searches. We decide the mix from your catalog, margins and tracking, and keep brand searches and best sellers from being lumped in with everything else.
Yes. We find the cause, whether it is missing GTINs, price or availability that does not match your site, missing shipping or return policies, image problems or a policy flag, fix it in the feed or on your site, and request a review once it is resolved. Google makes the final decision on account suspensions, so we fix the underlying issues first and only then appeal.
Yes. We connect the feed your platform sends, through the Google & YouTube app on Shopify, Google for WooCommerce or a feed plugin, a Magento extension or BigCommerce's Google channel, correct what it gets wrong, and add supplemental feeds and feed rules for the rest.
It depends on your margins, prices and how established your store is, so we set a target return on ad spend that keeps each product group profitable for you. The more you share about margins and product costs at the start, the better the targets. We then raise them as the account learns and budget moves to the products that sell.
Yes. SmartSites is a Google Partner and was a Google Premier Partner in 2025. Your campaigns run in your own Google Ads and Merchant Center accounts, so you keep the data and history if you ever leave.
Yes. The same feed can run Microsoft Shopping ads on Bing, and many stores add Amazon Sponsored Products and Meta catalog ads. Each added platform is $250 a month, and every channel shows side by side in your Client Hub. See ecommerce ads management for how we run them together.
