CTV specialists who buy TV like search.

Connected TV puts a full-screen video ad on the biggest screen in the house, but it is bought like digital advertising: by household, area and audience instead of by network and daypart. The value is in how it is planned and checked. We run CTV through Microsoft Advertising, choose the streaming apps and publishers that fit your brand, aim the budget at the zip codes and audiences you sell to, and set frequency caps so the same household does not see your spot too often. Every week we review delivery, completion rates and cost per thousand impressions, and we keep CTV in the same plan as your search, Performance Max and social campaigns, so the demand a TV spot creates is there to be captured when people search. The same PPC team that runs your search campaigns runs your streaming TV, and delivery is reported alongside the rest of your advertising.

Streaming TV ads, bought and measured like search.

CTV (connected TV) ads are the commercials people see when they watch streaming apps like Roku, Paramount+ or Tubi on a smart TV or streaming device. They play full-screen and cannot be skipped, and unlike broadcast TV they are bought and reported one impression at a time.

We buy CTV through Microsoft Advertising, in a separate CTV account for each client, so the spend never mixes with your search budget. You choose the market and the monthly budget; we set the audiences, load the creative, cap how often each household sees it and report every flight.

A dedicated CTV account and campaigns for your business, kept apart from your search ads, with monthly flights and budgets you approve.

  • Premium streaming inventory

Your spot on Roku, Paramount+, Samsung TV Plus, Pluto TV, Tubi and the rest of Microsoft's 860+ streaming publishers, chosen for each flight by reach and price in your area.

  • Creative specs and trafficking

We check your 15- or 30-second spots against the video specs, run English and Spanish versions where you have them, and swap in new offers each month.

  • Household and audience targeting

Ads limited to the ZIP codes, cities or radius you serve, narrowed with audience and in-market signals.

  • Frequency caps

Limits on how often one household sees your ad, so the budget reaches more homes instead of repeating to the same ones.

  • Follow-up on every other screen

Display and remarketing ads on phones and computers for the people who then visit your website, like the examples below.

  • Call and form tracking

Tracked phone numbers and form tracking on your site, so calls and leads are counted every month next to your TV flights.

Platform-reported impressions, video starts, completed views and spend for every Microsoft Advertising CTV account we manage (one CTV account per client, kept apart from search). CTV ads play on TV screens that cannot be clicked, and Microsoft reports no conversions for these campaigns, so we do not claim leads or sales from CTV on its own: we report it next to each client's calls, leads and website traffic.

CTV advertising FAQ

CTV (connected TV) advertising is video advertising on streaming apps watched on a TV: smart TVs, streaming sticks and game consoles. The ads look like regular TV commercials, but they are bought digitally, can be aimed at specific areas and audiences, and are reported impression by impression.

CTV is priced per 1,000 impressions (CPM). Across our clients' campaigns in the last 12 months the average was $14.58 per 1,000 impressions, and $13.85 on premium streaming campaigns across Microsoft's streaming publishers; buys limited to a single publisher cost more. Our dealership clients run monthly flights of about $1,500 to $25,000 in media. You also need a finished 15- or 30-second video; we can work with the spots you already run on TV.

OTT (over the top) means video delivered over the internet instead of cable or satellite, on any device. CTV is the part of OTT watched on a television. We buy for the TV screen: full-screen, sound on, and usually in a living room with more than one viewer.

We buy CTV through Microsoft Advertising, whose CTV marketplace has more than 860 streaming publishers. Its featured premium inventory includes Roku, Paramount+, LG Channels, Samsung TV Plus, Rakuten TV, Discovery+, Pluto TV, Plex, Tubi, Crackle, Xumo and Vevo. HBO Max, Disney+ and Hulu are available in some cases through Microsoft's marketplace relationships, and Spanish-language spots can run on Univision, UniMás, Telemundo, Estrella TV, TUDN and other Spanish-language channels. The exact apps depend on your market, audience and budget, and every flight report shows where your impressions ran.

Every flight is reported with impressions, video starts, completed views and cost per thousand from Microsoft Advertising. TV screens cannot be clicked, so CTV rarely gets direct conversions in the ad platform; we report it next to your calls, leads and website traffic in your Client Hub, and adjust areas, audiences and frequency month by month.
