I started teaching piano when I was 16, which I found so fun that I actually went on to add a double major in music while in business school. I still teach in the evenings and primarily focus on adult group lessons now.

La La Land is my ultimate comfort movie that I’ve watched at least 10 times, and I’d recommend it to anyone after a breakup! On the opposite end of the spectrum, the best show I’ve seen has got to be Breaking Bad. Who would’ve thought that kind of show would come from the Malcom in the Middle guy.

I love all the ultra-niche communities there are on Reddit. It’s just so crazy that entire online forums can be dedicated to things like “parasnailing,” chairs underwater, lazily-made bird nests, a place where everyone pretends they’re living 10 years ago, cool-looking unstirred paint, bees with photoshopped tophats, classic early-internet videos, and so much more!

I’ll never forget the first time I needed to print out a picture of a fish for a school project and my mom showed me what Google images was (2008). Scrolling Google images in between games on icarly.com on our big box computer became my new favorite hobby for at least 6 months. I can only IMAGINE how hard it would’ve bene on my parents to get me off if ChatGPT was a thing back then!

If money wasn’t an issue? I’d open a rescue cat cafe!

Not a specific song, but I play everything ABBA. And they have a crazy good song for just about everything!
