Dealer Google Ads, built around your inventory.

Dealership ad budgets leak in the same places: broad keywords that pull in people looking for parts diagrams, jobs or a private sale; ads still promoting a car that sold on Saturday; service fighting sales for the same budget; and reports that count every click and chat as a lead. We build campaigns around what you sell: new cars by make, model and trim, used inventory by model, price and body style, your service and parts departments, and conquest campaigns for shoppers comparing a competing brand. Inventory ads update as your lot changes, so budget follows the cars you have. Calls, forms and chats are tracked to the keyword and leads go into your CRM, so your GM sees which campaigns bring in leads and appointments, not just clicks. Spend, leads and cost per lead are in your Client Hub, updated every day.

Ads for every car you stock and every service you sell.

New, used, service and parts, run by one team that knows dealer accounts.

  1. 01

    Search

    Make, model and trim campaigns

New and used campaigns by make, model and trim, with ads that name the car and send shoppers to matching inventory, not your homepage.

    Google Ads management

  2. 02

    Conquest

    Win shoppers from competing brands

Ads for shoppers comparing a rival model or searching a competing dealer, written within Google’s trademark rules, with a capped budget so conquest never starves your own brand.

  3. 03

    Service drive

Service and parts campaigns that fill bays

Separate budgets for oil changes, brakes, tires, recalls and parts, scheduled around your service hours, with ads that go to your online scheduler.

  4. 04

    YouTube and Microsoft

Video and Bing for the rest of the market

YouTube ads for model launches and in-market shoppers near your store, and Microsoft Ads for the car buyers who search on Bing.

    YouTube adsMicrosoft Ads

  5. 05

    OEM co-op

Brand rules and co‑op claims handled

Ads that follow your manufacturer’s brand and pricing guidelines, planned around the Tier 1 and Tier 2 advertising already in your market, with the ad copies, invoices and spend reports a co-op claim needs.

  6. 06

    Tracking

    Every lead tracked

Call, form and chat tracking, with every lead routed to your CRM, so you see which campaigns and keywords bring in leads and appointments.

Vehicle Listing Ads that sell from your lot.

Vehicle Listing Ads (VLAs) show a car from your lot, with its photo, price, mileage and your dealership’s name, at the top of Google when someone nearby searches for that make and model. A click goes straight to that car’s page on your site. VLAs run through Performance Max campaigns that read your inventory feed in Google Merchant Center, so they reach shoppers who already know which car they want.

We turn on vehicle ads in Merchant Center, link it to your Google Business Profile, connect the feed from your dealer website or inventory provider and keep it clean, so prices and availability stay in sync and no ad promotes a car that already sold. Then we split campaigns by new and used, model and price, and push harder on the units you need to move. The dealers shown here run Vehicle Listing Ads alongside search with us; their numbers are for the whole Google Ads account.

  • A dealership with a physical lot and a verified Google Business Profile
  • A daily inventory feed with VIN, make, model, year, condition, price and, for used cars, mileage
  • Clear photos of each car and a link to its vehicle details page
  • Prices that match your website, so the ads get approved and stay running

Car dealership PPC questions, answered

Car dealership PPC is paid advertising, mainly Google Ads, where your dealership pays when a shopper clicks your ad. It covers search ads for the makes and models you sell, Vehicle Listing Ads that show cars from your inventory, service and parts campaigns, conquest campaigns, YouTube and Microsoft Ads. Done well, it puts your store in front of in-market buyers in your area from the first week.

Vehicle Listing Ads (VLAs) are Google ads that show a specific car from your lot, with a photo, price, mileage and your dealership’s name, when someone nearby searches for that kind of car. They run through Performance Max campaigns using an inventory feed in Google Merchant Center, and a click goes to that car’s page on your website.

Most franchise and independent dealers with a physical lot can. You need a Google Merchant Center account with vehicle ads turned on, a verified Google Business Profile for the dealership, and an inventory feed with each car’s VIN, make, model, year, condition, price, mileage for used cars, photos and a link to its vehicle details page. We check your eligibility and feed in the audit and handle the setup.

It depends on your brands, your market and how many cars and service visits you want from paid search. A luxury store in a big metro pays more per click than a used-car lot in a small town. We look at click costs and conversion rates in the audit and recommend a budget for sales and for service that can produce enough leads to judge, then scale what sells.

A monthly management fee, plus your ad spend, which you pay straight to Google and the other platforms. Setup is free, and the minimum ad budget for a local campaign is $1,500 a month. The ad accounts are in your name and stay yours. You get a written proposal with the scope and fee before you sign. See how we run PPC.

We follow your manufacturer’s brand, logo and pricing guidelines and keep the ad copies, invoices and spend reports that co-op claims ask for. Some OEM programs only reimburse ads placed by certified vendors, so we check your program’s rules in the audit and tell you where we stand before you sign.

On leads and appointments, not clicks. Calls, forms and chats are tracked to the campaign and keyword, and every lead goes into your CRM. Service campaigns are measured on booked appointments.

Yes. Each rooftop gets its own campaigns, budgets, feed and tracking, rolled up into one report for the group, so you can compare stores and move budget where it sells.

Yes. Paid search brings leads right away while organic rankings build, and the two share keyword and conversion data. See car dealership SEO.
